The suburb at the centre of the City of Logan
Logan Central is the administrative centre of the City of Logan. At the 2021 Census it had a population of 6,210 across about 2.9 square kilometres, roughly 24.5 km south-south-east of the Brisbane CBD. It borders Woodridge and Kingston and takes in the Wembley Road shopping corridor, Woodridge railway station, the Logan Central library, the Logan Art Gallery and Logan Gardens. Local sport includes the Logan Brothers Rugby League Football Club.
We do not quote drive times from Logan Central because they depend entirely on where you start and when you travel — put our address into your maps app for your own journey. If a closer clinic suits you better, that is a perfectly good reason to choose it. Many Logan Central patients come to us for the gym-based rehab space, the range of funded care we handle, or because a GP, a workplace or a friend sent them.
Common problems for Logan Central patients
Most appointments fall into a handful of areas. For spine and joint problems see our guides to back pain and sciatica, neck pain and whiplash, shoulder pain, knee pain and hip pain. For sport and overuse problems see ankle sprains, hamstring injuries, Achilles and patellar tendon pain, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow and running injuries.
We also see carpal tunnel and jaw pain, dizziness and vertigo, post-natal recovery, pelvic health and men’s pelvic health, and older adults building strength and balance — see strength training for older adults and osteoporosis exercise.
Hands-on care plus a real rehab space
Appointments combine assessment, hands-on treatment where it helps, and an exercise program built around what you need to get back to. Strength work happens in our gym-based rehab space, with clinical Pilates, hydrotherapy and dry needling available when they suit the problem. When objective measures help a return-to-sport or return-to-work decision, we can use VALD force-plate testing as a tool within a normal appointment.
Tell reception what is bothering you when you book and we will match you to the clinician whose interests fit — meet them on our team page.
