NDIS physiotherapy rates for 2026–27

Under the NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026–27, effective 1 July 2026, the national price limit for physiotherapy is $183.99 an hour — unchanged from last year, and now a single national rate. Provider travel is billed at $92.00 an hour. The caps bind agency-managed and plan-managed funding; self-managed participants can agree any price. Daisy Hill Physio works with plan-managed and self-managed participants across Logan.

What changed

What the 2026–27 schedule changed — and did not

The NDIA’s Annual Pricing Review held physiotherapy at $183.99 for 2026–27 — the same limit as 2025–26, when it was reduced by $10. The old state-by-state price differences are gone: there is now one national therapy rate. Provider travel is claimable at half the hourly rate (up to $92.00 an hour), and cancellation rules still allow a provider to claim when notice is too short — we will always explain our cancellation terms up front in your service agreement.

Your plan type

Agency, plan or self-managed — what the cap means for you

Plan-managed

Your plan manager pays invoices from your NDIS funds. The $183.99 cap applies. We invoice your plan manager directly — nothing out of pocket for funded supports.

Self-managed

You pay and claim back from your NDIS budget. Price limits do not legally bind self-managed participants, but they are a fair benchmark — and we price within them.

Agency-managed

The NDIA pays registered providers directly and the cap applies. If you are agency-managed, talk to us before booking so we can point you in the right direction for your situation.

An hour of your plan should buy real progress

Every session maps to the goals in your plan: capacity you can measure, exercises you can keep doing between visits, and reports written in plain language your support coordinator can actually use. If a support is not helping you progress, we will say so.
