CAR ACCIDENT & CTP CLAIM PHYSIO · LOGAN QLD

Injured in a car accident? Start physio this week — the insurer pays

Whiplash, back, shoulder and knee injuries from road accidents respond best to treatment that starts early — not after weeks of claim paperwork. We handle the CTP treatment approvals and bill the insurer directly, you choose the local clinic you’ll actually keep attending.

WHAT WE TREAT

Common accident injuries we rehabilitate

Whiplash & neck injuries
The most common CTP injury. Early active treatment beats collars and rest — graded movement, strength and a clear recovery timeline.
Back injuries
From jarring impacts to disc irritation — assessment, hands-on treatment and progressive loading back to work and life.
Shoulder & seatbelt injuries
Restraint-pattern injuries to the shoulder, collarbone and chest wall — restoring range and strength without aggravating healing tissue.
Knee & lower limb
Dashboard and brace-pattern injuries — patella, ligament and soft-tissue rehab through to running and sport.
Post-surgical rehab
If your accident required surgery, we run the structured rehab pathway after — coordinated with your surgeon’s protocol.
Whole-person recovery
Sleep disruption, deconditioning, driving anxiety about movement — recovery is more than one body part, and the plan reflects that.
HOW IT WORKS

From accident to recovery — four steps

1. See your GP
Get your injuries documented and a referral for physiotherapy. This matters for both your recovery and your claim.
2. Lodge (or continue) your CTP claim
Your claim sits with the at-fault vehicle’s CTP insurer — Suncorp, Allianz or QBE in Queensland. A lawyer can handle this for you; many work no-win-no-fee.
3. Book with us — tell us it’s a CTP claim
We prepare the treatment plan the insurer needs under the MAIC guidelines and seek approval directly. Approved treatment is billed straight to the insurer.
4. Recover on a plan
Objective baselines, staged rehab, progress reports that keep your claim moving — and you get a say in every goal.
WHY EARLY MATTERS

The first fortnight sets the trajectory

Accident injuries treated actively in the first two weeks recover faster and are far less likely to become chronic. Waiting for claim paperwork before starting treatment is the most common — and most avoidable — mistake we see. Book first. We’ll handle the insurer approvals in parallel.

CTP QUESTIONS

What accident clients ask us

Who pays for physio after a car accident in Queensland?
If another vehicle was at fault, their CTP insurer (Suncorp, Allianz or QBE in QLD) generally covers reasonable and necessary treatment once approved. We prepare the treatment plan, seek the approval and bill the insurer directly — you focus on recovering.
Do I need a lawyer before starting physio?
No — and don’t wait. Early treatment gives you the best recovery and your claim the clearest record. If you do engage a lawyer, we work alongside them: clean records, timely responses, no drama.
Can I choose my own physio for a CTP claim?
Yes. You have the right to choose your treatment provider. If you live around Daisy Hill, Springwood, Shailer Park, Slacks Creek, Cornubia or Loganholme, we’re the local option — which matters, because attending consistently is what actually gets you better.
What if my claim hasn’t been accepted yet?
Call us. Depending on the situation we can start under private or GP-referred arrangements while approval is pending, then transition billing once the insurer confirms. Don’t let claim paperwork delay week-one treatment.
How soon can I be seen?
CTP and WorkCover clients are offered an appointment within 48 hours of referral. Early intervention is the single strongest predictor of a clean recovery from accident injuries.
