Pilates

Clinical pilates at Daisy Hill Physio is delivered by qualified physiotherapists with extra training in the Pilates method — not personal trainers. That means every exercise is tailored to your injury, goals, and any pain or movement restrictions you’re working around.

What we treat

  • One-on-one assessments and programs
  • Small-group reformer sessions (2–4 participants)
  • Matwork classes for strength, mobility and core
  • Rehab-focused — perfect after injury or surgery
  • Claimable through private health extras (physiotherapy)
  • Pregnancy and post-natal safe programming

Clinical Pilates in Daisy Hill

Daisy Hill Physiotherapy runs physiotherapist-led clinical Pilates programs for all fitness levels at our clinic at Unit 4, 11–13 Allamanda Drive, Daisy Hill QLD 4127. Unlike gym-based Pilates, every program is tailored by a qualified physiotherapist to your specific musculoskeletal goals — injury rehab, post-natal core recovery, lower back pain, scoliosis, or general strength and flexibility.

How clinical Pilates differs from gym Pilates

  • One-to-one or small-group — maximum 4 participants per session, so the physiotherapist can correct technique in real time
  • Physio-prescribed — every exercise is chosen for your individual goals based on a physiotherapy assessment
  • Reformer, trapeze table & matwork equipment on-site
  • Health-fund rebatable as physiotherapy (HICAPS on-site)
  • Suitable for post-injury rehab — including disc issues, post-surgical recovery and pelvic floor cases

Who clinical Pilates suits

  • Lower back pain and disc-related complaints
  • Post-natal core retraining and pelvic floor recovery
  • Scoliosis management and postural correction
  • Office workers managing neck and shoulder tension
  • Older adults building strength, balance and bone density
  • Runners, cyclists and team-sport athletes addressing core stability

What to expect

Your first appointment is a 45-minute one-to-one assessment with a physiotherapist. We’ll review your goals, take a posture and movement screen, and design an initial program. After that, you join small-group classes (matwork or reformer) or continue with one-to-one sessions depending on your case.
