Clinical Pilates in Daisy Hill
Daisy Hill Physiotherapy runs physiotherapist-led clinical Pilates programs for all fitness levels at our clinic at Unit 4, 11–13 Allamanda Drive, Daisy Hill QLD 4127. Unlike gym-based Pilates, every program is tailored by a qualified physiotherapist to your specific musculoskeletal goals — injury rehab, post-natal core recovery, lower back pain, scoliosis, or general strength and flexibility.
How clinical Pilates differs from gym Pilates
- One-to-one or small-group — maximum 4 participants per session, so the physiotherapist can correct technique in real time
- Physio-prescribed — every exercise is chosen for your individual goals based on a physiotherapy assessment
- Reformer, trapeze table & matwork equipment on-site
- Health-fund rebatable as physiotherapy (HICAPS on-site)
- Suitable for post-injury rehab — including disc issues, post-surgical recovery and pelvic floor cases
Who clinical Pilates suits
- Lower back pain and disc-related complaints
- Post-natal core retraining and pelvic floor recovery
- Scoliosis management and postural correction
- Office workers managing neck and shoulder tension
- Older adults building strength, balance and bone density
- Runners, cyclists and team-sport athletes addressing core stability
What to expect
Your first appointment is a 45-minute one-to-one assessment with a physiotherapist. We’ll review your goals, take a posture and movement screen, and design an initial program. After that, you join small-group classes (matwork or reformer) or continue with one-to-one sessions depending on your case.

Frequently asked questions — clinical Pilates
Can I claim clinical Pilates on private health insurance?
Yes — clinical Pilates is delivered by a physiotherapist and is rebatable under your “physiotherapy” extras cover. HICAPS at reception for on-the-spot claiming.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is required for private sessions. A GP referral is needed for Medicare EPC, WorkCover, CTP or DVA claims.
Do you offer reformer Pilates?
Yes — we have reformer, trapeze table and matwork equipment on site.
Is clinical Pilates safe during pregnancy?
Yes — provided you have GP/obstetrician clearance and the program is modified by the physiotherapist. We tailor pre-natal programs to each trimester.
Can I do clinical Pilates after spinal surgery?
Yes, once cleared by your surgeon (usually 6–12 weeks post-op depending on the procedure). The physiotherapist will design a graded program.
How many people are in a class?
