How much does physio cost in Logan?

A standard private physiotherapy consultation at Daisy Hill Physio costs between A$105 and A$125, and you do not need a referral. Many people pay less than that on the day: private health extras can be claimed on the spot through HICAPS, a Medicare care plan rebates $63.40 a session, DVA Gold and White Card holders pay nothing for covered treatment, and NDIS plans fund physiotherapy at scheme rates. This page covers every pathway, current for 2026.

What a private consultation costs

A standard consultation with any of our five physiotherapists is A$105 to A$125. There is no referral requirement, no joining fee and no obligation to book a course of sessions up front — after your first assessment your physio will tell you honestly how many visits they expect you to need and what you can do yourself between them.

Where a session sits inside that range depends on what is involved on the day — for example a first assessment of a complex or long-standing problem sits at the top of the range, while a routine review sits at the bottom. Reception will always confirm the exact fee when you book: call 07 3209 2000.

Private health insurance

Claiming on your extras cover

If your private health insurance includes physiotherapy extras, we process your claim on the spot through HICAPS for all major Australian funds — you only pay the gap. The rebate amount depends on your fund and level of cover, so check your policy or ask reception to run a quote through the terminal before your session. Note that you cannot claim a private health rebate and a Medicare rebate for the same visit.

Funded pathways

Four ways your physio may already be funded

Medicare care plan

With a GP chronic condition management plan, Medicare rebates $63.40 per session (MBS item 10960) for up to 5 allied health sessions a calendar year. See our full guide: Medicare physio costs.

DVA Gold or White Card

Veterans pay nothing for covered physiotherapy — DVA pays us directly under its published schedule. See DVA physiotherapy fees 2026.

NDIS

Physiotherapy is funded under Improved Daily Living at up to $183.99 an hour under the 2026–27 pricing schedule. We work with plan-managed and self-managed participants. See NDIS physio rates.

WorkCover Queensland

If your injury happened at work and your claim is accepted, WorkCover Queensland funds your treatment under its own schedule of fees — you pay nothing while the claim is open. Bring your claim number to your first visit.

You do not need a referral for private physio

Physiotherapists are first-contact practitioners, so you can book directly — a referral only matters when someone else is paying, such as Medicare, DVA or WorkCover. If you are unsure which pathway applies to you, call us and reception will work it out with you before you book.
