How NDIS billing works at our clinic

Self-managed participants: we invoice you directly after each session; you pay us, then claim from the NDIS portal.

Plan-managed participants: we invoice your plan manager directly; you don’t pay anything at the appointment.

NDIA-managed (agency-managed) participants: we claim directly through the NDIS portal. Service agreements are required before we start.

We charge at or below the current NDIS Price Guide rates for physiotherapy services (line item 15_055_0128_1_3). Travel time, report writing and service agreement preparation are charged at the appropriate Price Guide rates.

Reports we provide

  • Progress reports for plan reviews
  • Functional capacity assessments (where appropriate)
  • Recommendations for equipment, AT funding and home modifications (in collaboration with your OT)
  • Support letters for additional therapy hours where clinically indicated

Booking and contact

Book online 24/7 at bookings.nookal.com or call us on 07 3209 2000. When booking, please mention NDIS so we can prepare the service agreement and allocate an appropriate first-appointment length (60 minutes recommended for new NDIS participants).

Frequently asked questions — NDIS physiotherapy

Are you a registered NDIS provider?
Yes — we’re a registered NDIS physiotherapy provider and work with self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants.

Do you offer in-home or telehealth physiotherapy for NDIS clients?
Our primary model is clinic-based. For NDIS participants who need in-home or telehealth-only services we can refer you to a partner provider. Most NDIS participants do attend in-clinic for the higher-quality hands-on assessment.

How much do you charge under NDIS?
We charge at or below the current NDIS Price Guide rates for physiotherapy (line item 15_055_0128_1_3). The exact rate depends on the date of service and the Price Guide in force.

Do you write reports for plan reviews?
Yes — we routinely write progress reports, functional capacity assessments and support letters for plan reviews. Report writing is charged at the Price Guide rate.

Can I use my NDIS plan for clinical Pilates or hydrotherapy?
Yes, where it’s included in your plan as physiotherapy or capacity-building. Bring your plan and we’ll confirm coverage.

Do you treat children under NDIS?
Yes — we treat paediatric NDIS participants, including children with cerebral palsy, developmental delay and post-injury rehabilitation needs.
