At the 2021 census the suburb was home to around 15,200 residents, and it sits close to the Pacific Motorway, the Gateway Motorway and the Rochedale-to-Springwood busway corridor — well connected for a patient commuting to physiotherapy from anywhere along that stretch.

We already see a steady number of patients from Rochedale South as part of our Springwood and Underwood catchment, for the same reasons patients from those suburbs choose us: five physiotherapists across the team, a full range of funded pathways, and appointments that do not require a referral for private or Medicare-eligible presentations.

What we treat

A clinic with the right person for whatever you bring in

Our team covers general musculoskeletal physiotherapy, gym-based rehab, clinical pilates and hydrotherapy, women’s and men’s pelvic health, vestibular physiotherapy for vertigo and BPPV, TMJ and jaw pain, healthy ageing and falls prevention, and post-surgical, sports and WorkCover rehabilitation. Every clinician works from the same evidence-based approach, and our team page sets out who leads each area so you can see who you would be working with before you book.

Our full condition-specific guides cover the problems we see most often — shoulder, knee, back, neck, hip and ankle pain through to carpal tunnel syndrome and TMJ and jaw pain — each explaining what the evidence says and what treatment involves.

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist? No referral is needed for a private or HICAPS-eligible appointment. A referral is only required if you want to claim the Medicare rebate under a GP chronic condition management plan, or for DVA, NDIS, WorkCover and CTP funding, each of which has its own referral or claim process.

Is there parking at the clinic? Yes, free on-site parking is available for patients.

Do you see people who play local sport? Yes — our team regularly manages sporting injuries, from acute sprains and strains through to load-management and return-to-sport programs for junior and adult club players training in the Rochedale South and Springwood area.

What should I bring to my first appointment? Any imaging or specialist reports you have, a list of current medications, comfortable clothing you can move in, and your Medicare card, DVA card, NDIS plan details or WorkCover claim number if one of those applies to you.
