COMMON QUESTIONS

Cornubia patients ask us …

Do I need a referral to come in from Cornubia?+

For a private appointment, no — just book online or call. For DVA you need a current D904 or D1216 GP referral. For Medicare GPCCMP you need a GP-issued chronic disease management plan. For WorkCover you need a workers’ compensation medical certificate and an accepted claim number.

How quickly can a Cornubia patient be seen?+

Usually within 1–3 business days for new patients. WorkCover and DVA referrals are prioritised. Same-day acute appointments are often possible if you call before 11am.

Do you do home visits in Cornubia?+

Yes — for eligible NDIS and DVA patients within the Logan City local government area, which includes Cornubia and the surrounding 4130 catchment.

My GP is in Cornubia — can you send reports back to them?+

Yes. We send outcome reports to your referring GP at the end of every funded episode (DVA, Medicare CDM) and at major progress milestones for NDIS, WorkCover and private patients. Just give us the GP’s clinic details when booking.

Do you take HICAPS / private health?+

Yes — HICAPS on the spot for all major Australian private health funds, so you only pay the gap.
