Clinical Pilates
Floor-based, 1-on-1 with a physiotherapist — part of your return-to-activity and strength program.
CLINICAL PILATES
Clinical Pilates at Daisy Hill — 1-on-1 floor work, not a class.
Clinical Pilates at Daisy Hill is 1-on-1 with a physiotherapist, floor-based only — no reformer. It runs inside a normal physiotherapy session as part of a structured return-to-activity and strength program. Every exercise is tailored to your injury, surgery, condition or athletic goal.

CLAIMABLE THROUGH PHYSIO COVER
Private health extras, NDIS, DVA, Medicare CDM.
Because sessions are 1-on-1 with a physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates is claimable through private health extras under the physiotherapy item code (subject to your fund and remaining annual limit). NDIS where it fits Capacity Building goals. DVA with current GP referral. Medicare CDM where it fits the GP’s plan.
HOW IT WORKS
Inside your physiotherapy session, on the floor.
Clinical Pilates at Daisy Hill is delivered 1-on-1 with your physiotherapist as part of a normal physiotherapy consultation. All work is floor-based — controlled breathing, core engagement, glute and posterior chain activation, balance and proprioception, graded loading. It sits inside a broader return-to-activity and strength program, not as a stand-alone class.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Clinical Pilates patients ask us …
Do you use a reformer?+
No. Clinical Pilates at Daisy Hill is floor-based only — mat work, controlled breathing, core engagement, balance and graded strength. The sessions are 1-on-1 with your physiotherapist and sit inside a broader return-to-activity and strength program.
Is it a group class?+
No — sessions are 1-on-1 with your physiotherapist. That means every exercise is tailored to your injury, surgery, condition or goal.
How is Clinical Pilates different from a regular Pilates class?+
A regular Pilates class is general fitness. Clinical Pilates at Daisy Hill is rehabilitation — led by a physiotherapist, individualised to your condition, floor-based, and part of a structured strength and return-to-activity program.
Can I claim Clinical Pilates on private health?+
Yes — because it is delivered 1-on-1 by a physiotherapist as part of a normal physiotherapy session, it is claimable under the physiotherapy item code on your extras cover.
Can NDIS, DVA or Medicare CDM fund Clinical Pilates?+
Yes in many cases — NDIS where it fits Capacity Building goals; DVA with a current GP referral; Medicare CDM where it fits the GP’s plan. Call us and we can talk through your specific funding.
